The school has outgrown its current building and is in the process of constructing a new facility.
The new facility will be located at Ashley Rd. and State Rt. 126 in Yorkville.
When the school first opened, only 13 students attended in grades 9-12 but enrollment has steadily increased over the past few years.
There are now a total of 30 students at the high school and Sovern believes that number could double in the next school year.
While construction is not yet underway, the new school is expected to be built and ready for students on the opening day of the 2017/2018 school year.
The start of the second phase of construction is yet to be determined.
Sovern says athletic facilities could be built in the coming years, as the school owns 18 to 20 acres of land at the location.
The school has added baseball, volleyball and track and field to their athletic program.
